Each year, Founders College admits a small number of transfer students from other accredited colleges and universities. Because of the rigorous, required general education curriculum at Founders, students may have to spend an extra year in studies at Founders to finish the whole program. To apply for transfer admission, a student should complete the same admission package, with the additional requirement of including a transcript of all college-level work completed. Transfer applications will be considered according to the same academic standards as regular admissions. The Department Chairs and Admissions Office determine the precise number of credits that a student may transfer. Founders has a 64-credit residency requirement.
