Festivals for every season

There are quite a few fun festivals that take place in Halifax County. They are the Heritage and Antique Machinery Festival, the Fall Heritage Festival, the Holiday Living Show, and the famous Virginia Cantaloupe Festival. Thousands are drawn to the area each year to the Cantaloupe Festival for the food, drinks, music, and of course locally grown cantaloupe with ice cream!
