Investing wisely

A college education is one of the most important investments in time and money that you will ever make. Current U.S. government statistics put its value in additional earning potential over a lifetime at over $1.2 million dollars for men and $600,000 for women.

The sad fact is that typical college tuitions have risen so dramatically in recent years that today an Ivy League college tuition can cost well above $40,000 per year.

This stands in stark contrast to Founders College, where tuition, room and board come to less than $30,000. And the cost can be even less – students who reply by the Early Decision deadline, and who are admitted to the College, receive a Founders Pioneer Scholarship of $4,000 per year for four years of attendance at Founders College.

Getting your money's worth

Is attending an Ivy League college really worth the extra money? For what they charge, you’d expect to get the best of everything…yet students are still housed in overcrowded dormitories and eat institutional food. Even worse, undergraduates take courses that offer little actual content and practical value, which leaves them feeling bored and intellectually unchallenged.

Founders believes that young people who are determined to learn, make more of themselves and who value a superior education, deserve better. Rather than spending millions on lavish research labs for professors or grand athletic facilities for nationally televised athletic programs, we focus on investing in resources that deliver the highest return for your tuition dollar…great teaching, fine food, excellent accommodations and a beautiful campus geared toward quality of student life.

Founders also delivers greater value by applying what might seem an obvious principle to the college experience, yet one that is usually lacking: good customer service. Unlike the cold, impersonal, bureaucratic manner in which most colleges are run, Founders treats our students – and their parents – as valued customers who deserve respect. We think it makes little sense to pay tens of thousands of dollars a year to an organization that is going to treat you poorly.

Everyone agrees that a college education is an investment, but not all investments are wise ones. Attending Founders College is not only a more affordable alternative, it gives you something that is truly valuable…a superior educational experience. A Founders education gives you a lifetime return on your investment.
