Teaching positions

If you are a qualified teaching professional who shares Founders’ vision and passion for education, we’d like to hear from you at employment@founderscollege.com. We offer a challenging, yet rewarding academic environment that’s distinctly different from other colleges.

Founders College hires faculty who are committed to great teaching of important ideas. We are not primarily a research or publishing institution. Our goal is to have a team of instructors who can teach clearly, colorfully, and dramatically.

The College does not have tenure. It offers contracts of varying lengths and conditions, depending on the individual candidate’s abilities and on the College’s needs. We offer competitive salaries and benefits packages, and – uniquely – bonuses, performance clauses, and stock options.

Before applying for a position, please make sure that you agree with the College’s vision and philosophy of higher education. Please also ensure that you are able to teach courses in accordance with the course descriptions relevant to your field. In the future, we will be expanding our course offerings and departments.

All of these positions require some advising and administrative work.

History/Science

We are hiring an exceptional instructor who can teach the two-course sequence of “The Fundamentals of Science.” There will be opportunities in the future to teach upper-division history and science courses.

Economics and Business

We are hiring exceptional generalists who can teach Intro to Economics and basic business courses. The right candidate might have the opportunity to help shape the College’s unique business curriculum.
